Definition of GSM Nylon

Nylatron GSM nylon is manufactured from molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) and oil by Quadrant EPP. Nylatron GSM was the first nylon to combine the properties of MoS2 and oil to increase the load bearing capabilities of the nylon. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Capabilities

    • Alongside the load-bearing capabilities of Nylatron GSM, the products manufactured retain the impact-resistance characteristics of nylon. GSM nylon is capable of operating in high-pressure environments.

    Speeds

    • Nylon GSM can be used in low speed operations of up to 40 feet per minute. The coloring of nylon GSM can be gray-black or blue.

    Uses

    • Common uses of GSM nylon include gears, sheaves, sprockets and custom manufactured parts. The material can also be used to manufacture washers, bearings and slide pads.
