Function

MS Publisher 2007, the 2007 edition to the line of Microsoft Publisher software products, enables a user to format pages containing both graphics and text. Microsoft Publisher 2007 applications are designed to allow the user to manage such functions as kerning, text-flow and the positioning of graphics on the page layout.

Features

MS Publisher 2007 enables users to open, preview and save Office Online Publisher templates via the Publisher Catalog. Microsoft Publisher 2007 also includes a library of customizable or blank design templates such as flyers, newsletters and brochures. Microsoft Publisher 2007 allows insertion of full resolution photos into publications, and has the ability to reduce the resolution of Web pages as needed.

Enhancements

Earlier versions of Microsoft Publisher did not include such graphic features as object shadowing and built-in PDF output. Microsoft Publisher 2007 includes enhanced color separation capabilities and can output PDF with embedded fonts.
