Directions for Baby Sock Flowers

The supplies needed to make baby sock flowers include one sock for each flower, 6- to 8-inch pieces of green florist wire and floral tape. Satin or silk leaves can be added for stem greenery.
Process

Wrap the end of the wire with a small piece of floral tape to cover the sharp edge. Roll the sock into a spiral shape from the toe up, three times, to create a coil. Insert the wrapped end of the wire into the bottom of the coil. Wrap floral tape around the bottom of the rolled sock to bind it to the wire, and tape a leaf to the wire stem.

Baby sock flowers are useful for gift toppers and baby shower decorations. A corsage is made from two or three of the flowers for the mother-to-be or grandmothers to wear.
