Lights
-
Nothing can brighten a window like a string of Christmas lights. Keep lights straight and tight around the edges of the window for a neat appearance. For an easy and efficient way to hang them, affix them along a tension rod with twist ties and set the rod in the window case. Use suction cup hooks to hold them in place down the sides and along the bottom.
Features
-
Give each window a feature item on display. For uniformity, use a similar item in all the windows, such as an electric candle, animated figure or wreath. Put your Christmas tree in front of one window for a lovely display. Be sure to fill the side facing the window with ornaments and lights.

Glass
-
Decorate the glass itself. Use washable tempera paints to paint words, figures or designs on the window. Spray-on imitation snow is an excellent choice if you are wishing for a white Christmas. For an inexpensive option that will enable you to involve children, try window clings.
