Clipart won't print for various reasons.

Microsoft Word won't print clipart for a number of reasons. One reason may be that someone may have already configured clipart not to print in the first place. In some circumstances, users may need to open clipart settings manually.

  1. Open It

    • When you load an application, a computer sometimes gives you the option of only loading certain features. Microsoft Word clipart has this capability. Microsoft Word won't print clipart if a previous user opted to not load it at all, as well. Use the "Programs and Features" in the Control Panel to check if clipart is turned on, then reboot and try to print again.

    Features

    • Although text and words may print, graphics or images may not. Word won't print clipart if something is wrong with a printer. Print a test page, clean or align printer cartridges or check printer control settings in the Control Panel. Double-click the "Printers" icon, right-click the default printer name (your printer that is), then choose "Properties" and follow prompts using the various tabs.

    Run an Update

    • If you haven't updated the application for awhile, it might be a good idea to visit Microsoft's website. There may be nothing, in fact, wrong with the application or printer. Updates also may fix any potential "bugs" that cause clipart not to print.
