Candles and Fall Flower Arrangements

Fall flowers, like roses, can be arranged with candles for seasonal decorations.

Flowers and candles can be used to make festive fall arrangements for autumn holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving. The mingling colors, lights and scents can bring a warm glow to your table or mantle. You can even make flower and candle arrangements as gifts for your friends and family.

Fall Flowers

When making arrangements in the fall, consider the flowers blooming in your garden. Mums, pansies and sage all bloom during the fall months even in cold climates. Roses also bloom in the fall.

Colors and Scents

Consider the colors you use in you arrangements for fall. Golds, oranges, yellows, reds and browns are generally associated with the season. Deep or spicy scents like sandalwood, cinnamon or pumpkin work well for fall candles. Pair your candle's scent with some of the flowers in your arrangement. Try yellow roses with a red rose-scented candle so colors and scents harmonize.
