Outdoor Lighting for Barns

Barns may be located near a home where electrical sources make lighting inside and outside of a barn easy. Style and purpose are important factors to consider when choosing light fixtures. Modern gooseneck light fixtures replicate those used in the early days. A gooseneck-style light fixture provides a wide span of light in a downward direction. Commonly attached near barn doors, the modern version of the gooseneck comes in a wide range of styles.

Security Lights

Outdoor spot lights with motion sensing capabilities are commonly used on many types of buildings including barns. Motion sensing lights are typically used near doorways and in parking areas. This type of light may be equipped with a sensitivity setting as well as a timer so the light will shut off after a predetermined length of time.

Solar Lighting

In cases where a barn is not equipped with electrical wiring, solar LED lights are a viable option. Solar LED lights provide a bright long lasting light source to any outdoor area.
