Enterprise Architect Certification
Enterprise architects work to combine procedures, strategies and information technology into one cohesive business environment. Finding a certification program can be a challenge because of the lack of a single teaching standard, but ample training will get you prepared.

Types
-
Enterprise Architecture programs fall into three categories. Vendor specific programs are hosted by individual companies like Apple or IBM. Vendor neutral programs provide skills that can be applied to a variety of corporate environments. Some programs combine both types of skills.
Levels of Certification
-
You can be certified on four levels. Business architecture helps you arrange operating procedures and management structure. IT architecture makes you capable of matching technical capabilities with company objectives. Software architecture defines applications that are specific to the organization. Common/Commercial component architecture is useful when working with high performance systems, such as CORBA and FORTRAN.

Cost
-
Courses can range anywhere from $400 to $2,500 depending on the level and type of certification. If you don't have any prior experience in enterprise architecture or IT work you may need to take preliminary classes to qualify for a certification course.
