Facts About the 67 Shelby GT 500

The Shelby Mustang came along within a year of the original Mustang's release. Ford wanted to make the Mustang more competitive, so they sent it to the company owned by Carroll Shelby, a former racecar driver and designer. His adaptations created a lighter, more powerful Mustang.
