Where Is the PIP Feature Located on My Dell Monitor?

The PIP, or Picture-in-Picture, function is located on the Dell monitor's front face, usually below the screen. It is one of a series of buttons including the input select, the OSD menu select and the brightness/contrast button.

  1. Identification

    • The PIP button is circular in shape. It contains a rectangular shape with a black square in its upper right-hand corner. The icon resembles one screen inside another, thus representing the Picture-in-Picture setting.

    Function

    • Pressing the PIP button opens the Picture-in-Picture menu. This allows you to select and adjust a video input that you'd like to view in a small screen within your current display.

    Features

    • If you press the PIP button twice, it opens the Picture-by-Picture menu. This gives you a set of options that enable you to display two video inputs side by side. It differs from the Picture-in-Picture setting in that each display is equally prominent.
