Hawaiian Cruises From the USA

Hawaiian Cruises From the USA thumbnail
All the main Hawaiian islands have at least one volcano.

As well as tropical landscapes, renowned hospitality and great weather, Hawaii offers you the opportunity to visit trendy boutiques and art galleries. Traveling around the islands on a cruise ship permits comfort as well as luxury because many boats are equipped with a spa and restaurant.

  1. Geography

    • Each of Hawaii's eight islands has its own character and climate. Most cruises will incorporate Oahu, Maui, the Big Island and Kauai into the trip. The islands of Lanai and Molokai are usually visited as part of excursions from the other islands.

    Types

    • As of December 2010, two companies offer round-trip cruises to Honolulu from the USA: Princess and Holland, which depart from San Diego have a journey length of 15 nights. A few other companies offer one-way trips from San Diego or Los Angeles, often stopping in Mexico first.

    Benefits

    • Some cruises allow you to practice water sports, such as surfing at Waikiki and Oahu's north shore, scuba diving and snorkeling in Maui and Lanai and kayaking in Kauai. You can also fish in Kona.
