The HP Web Printing software is free and works with Internet Explorer versions 6.0 and above, as well as Mozilla Firefox versions 2.0 and higher. After you install the HP Web Printing software on your PC, the HP Smart Select button will appear on the browser's taskbar.
Basic Use

To print a webpage or section of a webpage, click the HP Smart Select button, hold it and drag it across the content. Release the mouse button and select "Clip," "Copy" or "Print" from the pop-up menu. The "Clip" feature sends the highlighted images and text to the browser's sidebar.

Advanced Features

After using the "Clip" feature of the HP Smart Select Button, add a check mark in front of each item you want to customize and choose "Edit." This opens the page setup area, which allows you to tweak the content. The page setup area also allows you to save the document as a PDF.
