How Do I Use Pc-Check for a Computer's Diagnostics?

Pc-Check is diagnostic software for computer hardware developed by Eurosoft. Pc-Check is used to test a system's hardware to determine if there are any faults, errors or damage to the various installed devices.

  1. eTest Manager

    • Pc-Check users have the option of creating a customized set of tests that can be scripted to run automatically at start-up. Sub-tests and other system diagnostics can be selected to run, using the command line option and saved for future re-use.

    Hard Disk Performance Check

    • Using the "Test" menu in the Pc-Check application, users can select a hard disk performance check to test the integrity and speed of any installed hard disk drive. The test can be used to determine benchmark statistics for drives, an analysis of drive health, and fault detection using SMART drive testing.

    Controller Tests

    • Pc-Check users can also test installed network cards and controllers to determine any faults or issues with installed network cards. Diagnostic testing of network cards can be done on high speed card controllers, up to 1GB, and is done without an external loop-back plug.
