The glovebox of a vehicle is not an approved storage container for ammunition. New Jersey is specific in its rules regarding carrying revolvers. These guns must be carried unloaded and in a closed, locked case. Ammunition must be carried in a separate container and locked in the trunk of the vehicle in which it is being transported.
