  1. Service Parts Identification Sticker

    • Pontiac printed the paint code of all of its models on the service parts identification sticker. The sticker was printed on silver paper in 2000.

    Location

    • Pontiac placed the sticker on different locations for each model of the 2000 line-up. Check the spare tire cover, glove box, trunk lid, jack cover, under the trunk carpet and spare tire cover. On hatchbacks, the sticker is sometimes on the hatchback door.

    Decipher the Code

    • Pontiac's typical code in 2000 was written as "BC/CC" (base coat/clear coat) followed by a three- or four-digit number with a "U" or "WA" prefix. The code is on the left-hand side of the bottom line.
