What Is Arnica 30?
Arnica 30 is a homeopathic remedy and as such is not FDA approved. Long used for the treatment of bruises and muscle pain, Arnica is recommended by some for arthritis, bursitis, sprains, labor pains, cold sores, allergies and even hair loss.

The active ingredient is Arnica montana, a European plant with natural anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. Stimulating the white blood cells, arnica promotes healing and reduces pain and swelling. While some scientists feel homeopathic Arnica has only a placebo effect, other studies foundthat Arnica gives relief in animals --- suggesting Arnica's benefits cannot be "all in the mind."

Do not smoke, drink, eat or use toothpaste within 20 minutes before or after taking Arnica. Do not touch the tiny "pillules" instead tip them directly from container to mouth. Containing lactose, Arnica 30 is not suitable for everyone.

Arnica montana is toxic when ingested, except in minute, homeopathic amounts. Even used in skin preparations take care as allergies are common. Follow the precise dosage recommendations. Use Arnica 30 only as recommended for your condition and preferably only after advice from a healthcare professional. Do not use it during pregnancy, except where a woman already has gone into labor. Great Britain restricts Arnica 30 to people over 16 years old.
