Treatment
-
Patients with a variety of conditions such as carbon monoxide poisoning, infections, and conditions that can cause tissue death may have HBOT recommended in their treatment course. Treatment may be administered through a chamber designed for one person or in a room for multiple people. Both HBOT settings require increased pressure and pure oxygen delivery.

-
Present at offshore operations, diver medics offer medical support that includes HBOT applications for divers who experience illness or injury. Hyperbaric technologists and nurses administer HBOT in medical facilities to promote healing. Physicians may specialize in hyperbaric medicine and order treatment for patients.
