The Mopar 340 engine known as the "six pack" is Chrysler's small block V-8 first made available in 1968. It is nicknamed the "six pack" because of the distinctively shaped intake manifold that sits on top of the engine.

    Camshaft

    • The engine is fitted with a hydraulic camshaft. The camshaft has a 0.508 lift. It has an intake duration of 248 degrees and an exhaust duration of 248 degrees.

    Dimensions

    • The engine has a displacement volume of 340 cubic inches. Its bore is 4.04 inches and stroke is 3.310 inches. It has a compression ratio of 9.7 to 1.
