Specs on the T-Fal Iron
T-Fal manufactures irons and pots and pans. Some of its irons come with the nonstick finishes that ease the ironing process, especially when using spray starch. As of December 2010, T-Fal irons have a sturdy base, assuring their stability when not in use. Does this Spark an idea?

Function
-
Irons are an appliance used to take wrinkles out of fabric, transfer photos to fabric, block sweaters and help tailor sewing projects. The irons produce steam when directly on the fabric or at a 90-degree angle, making it easy to steam drapes or clothes on hangers.
Considerations
-
If the water inside the T-Fal iron is not hot enough to create steam, the water will not drip through the fill-hole or through the steam vents on the iron. The iron has an automatic shut-off feature in case the user forgets to turn it off. A signal light turns off when the iron has reached the fabric setting selected.

Benefits
-
You can use any kind of tap water in the T-Fal iron, since it has self-cleaning features. The water tank holds 10 oz. of water, so prolonged use of the iron does not require frequent refills.
