About Basin Wrenches
-
A basin wrench is a typical wrench attached to a long metal tube. This tube is designed to give you leverage and reach in the tight spaces underneath sinks. The wrench head spins so you can control the direction you are turning it in. This allows you to tighten or loosen the connection, as well as get access to the area from either side.
Telescoping Handle
-
Because of the many different pipe configurations that exist, a basin wrench comes with a telescoping handle. This allows you to reach any location under the sink. It also gives you leverage so you can easily tighten or loosen the nuts that hold the pipes together.

Nut Size
-
A basin wrench comes with an adjustable nut in order to fit any size piping. The nut size changes from 3/8 inch to 1 1/4 inches so you don't need to have several on hand in different sizes.
