  1. The X77 Code

    • Camaros built in Norwood, Ohio, used a code that began with an "X" followed by two digits help Fisher body employees identify body trim and paint changes. The X77 code signified the paint scheme should include the Z28 rally stripe.

    The D80 Code

    • The code "D80" means that the car had D80 spoilers. Interestingly, the code wasn't always used, so a car without it may indeed have been equipped with the spoilers.

    Practical Usage
