How Do I Update My MSN Profile?

Microsoft's MSN group of sites, originally known as the Microsoft Network and now called the Windows Live network, gives each user a profile. You can use your profile to share content, manage email and interact with other contacts on various social networks.

  1. Logging in

    • The Windows Live network, the new name for the MSN network, covers a broad range of services, including Hotmail, Windows Live Messenger, and the MSN portal, which covers news, movies and music. You can log in or create a new account on any of these sites via the "Sign In" link in the top right corner.

    Windows Live Home

    • The Windows Live Home page enables you to manage all aspects of your network, from calendars to online file storage via SkyDrive. The Home page gathers together relevant updates and news, and your Profile page holds information that other users will be able to see and access.

    Editing Your Profile

    • By clicking on the Profile link in the top right corner and then clicking Edit details, you can modify information about yourself, your contact details and your occupation. You can also assign a profile photo and link your profile to such services as Facebook and YouTube.
