Laser Printer Drum Cleaning
Laser printers use a laser beam to transfer ink to paper. They are faster than the older ink jet printers. When the printer drum becomes dirty, it can affect the efficiency of the printer. To keep the drums running efficiently they need to be cleaned on a regular basis.

Remove the printer cover and set aside. Dampen the microfiber cloth with lukewarm water and carefully clean the surface of the drum. Dip the cotton swap in rubbing alcohol and use it to gently clean the toner ribbon. Dip the rag in the alcohol and use it to wipe excess ink from the drum. It is very important to leave the drum to dry for an hour before using the printer.
