Uses for Wax Paper
Cooking and kitchen cleanup are easier with wax paper. The non-stick surface prevents foods from sticking and catches things that you don't want hanging around the kitchen, like dust from spices and juices from raw meat. Does this Spark an idea?

Perfect Cake Lettering
-
Get the writing on the cake just right. If you are not such a steady hand at writing on cakes with frosting, let wax paper make your job easier. Cut the shape of the cake out of wax paper. Write directly on the paper instead of the cake and freeze it. Gently peel the frozen letters and words off the paper and place them on the cake. Perfecto!
Cutting Board Liner
-
Keep cutting boards cleaner and in better shape with wax paper. Protect your cutting boards from the stains of blood red meat by lining them with three layers of wax paper. After cutting on the paper, immediately throw it out and clean the cutting board. The added layer of protection helps keep the cutting board stain free.

Spice Cabinet Liner
-
Place wax paper under spice jars to collect dust. Wax paper attracts dust and grease particles and holds onto them. Line your spice cabinet with wax paper, let it collect dust and other particles like grease from nearby cooking surfaces. Fold it up and discard it each month for a cleaner kitchen.
Non-Stick Pan Liner
-
Wax paper in between layers prevents sticking. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper as a non-stick surface when baking. Wax paper also keeps foods from sticking when stored in the refrigerator or in a plastic container on the counter. Stack brownies three layers high and separate each with a sheet of wax paper.
