A domestic judgment is one that was entered by a court within the state of Arizona. A domestic judgment is good for five years and can be extended for an additional five years. There is no limit to the number of five-year extensions that can be obtained.
Foreign Judgments

A foreign judgment is one that was entered by a court outside of the state of Arizona. The statute of limitations on collecting on a foreign judgment is four years. Foreign judgments are not extendable.

The statutory interest rate on an Arizona judgment is 10 percent. The judgment interest rate can also vary according to the terms of the contractual agreement.
