Christmas Cards Made With Fabric Dryer Sheets
Rather than throwing away used dryer sheets, save them and put them to use in decorating homemade Christmas cards. Iron the dryer sheets under low heat before using them so they are flat. Does this Spark an idea?

Frosted Card
-
Give any Christmas card a frosted appearance by gluing a dryer sheet on top of brightly-colored images on the card. Coat the card with spray adhesive and set a used dryer sheet on the card. Rub fine glitter onto the dryer sheet as you press it onto the card. Trim the edges of the dryer sheet if it extends beyond the edge of the card.
Snowflake Card
-
Paint a mixture of fine white or silver glitter and white craft glue over the surface of each dryer sheet and allow them to dry. Fold each dryer sheet into a pie-shaped triangle and cut it into a detailed snowflake shape. Glue each snowflake to the outside of a red card, with the glittery side facing out.

Snowy Scene
-
Cut dryer sheets that have been painted with glittered glue into tiny confetti-sized pieces. Decorate a card with rubber stamps to make a winter scene that includes evergreen trees and some deer. Dip a toothpick into white craft glue and create tiny dabs of glue over the portion of the card where you would like snow to be falling. Stick a piece of the dryer sheet onto each dab of glue.
