SUV Sunroof Safety

The sunroof in your SUV is manufactured to meet safety regulations.

Safety Procedures

There are safety precautions that must be followed when the sunroof on your SUV is open. Be sure you do not stand through, or extend any parts of your body through, the sunroof while your vehicle is moving. When closing the sunroof, keep all body parts away from it to prevent any chance of becoming jammed in it should the anti-jam feature fail.

Be aware that in the event of a collision when the sunroof is open there is a chance of debris coming inside, as well as you or any passenger in the vehicle being ejected out of the sunroof, especially if you are not wearing a seat belt.
