About Blank Page Loading
Internet Explorer 6 sometimes loads showing a blank page instead of a Web page, according to Microsoft. This may happen even if Service Pack 1 has been installed on your computer.
-
Cause
-
Blank pages load when dynamic link library (DLL)) files fail to register themselves. These files are libraries of data and code that can be used by two or more programs simultaneously. They are used to promote efficient memory usage.
Resolution
-
The problem with loading blank pages may be fixed by registering the DLL files manually. Go to "Run" in the Start menu to register these files. Type each DLL's name into the "rgsvr32" command.
-
Considerations
-
Register the urlmon.dll and actxprxy.dll files first when manually registering DLL files. Restart Internet Explorer after registering these files, as registering these two files may be enough to solve your problem with blank pages.
