Recurring Speedpay

Western Union's recurring Speedpay service allows a customer to create a scheduled set of payments to a company by a credit or debit card account. The customer chooses the delivery date.

Access

Speedpay allows customers to access their bills using either a dedicated website, a telephone call to a call center or from within an e-mailed bill. Speedpay lets a customer make a one-off payment of a bill or set up regular payments for recurring bills.

Benefits

The benefits of using Speedpay include the leeway to change or delete a scheduled payment, and to calculate the amount to pay. For bill originators, the benefits include Western Union holding all payment schedules and customer information on Western Union databases, reducing the IT costs for a company, along with a reduction in delinquent bills.

Processing

The recurring payments received using Speedpay process in real time, allowing for declining or receiving a payment. Recurring Speedpay payments process at a specified time of the day with received funds passed to the bank account of the bill originator when cleared.
