Forefront Certification

Certification as a Microsoft certified technology specialist (MCTS) can be achieved by successfully completing the 70-557 exam, called Microsoft Forefront Client and Server, Configuring. This exam was released in October 2007, and counts toward obtaining Microsoft certified systems engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft certified systems administrator (MCSA) credentials on Microsoft Windows Server 2000 or 2003 technology.

The Microsoft Forefront certification exam is designed to test your knowledge and understanding of how to use Forefront on server and client systems. Installation, configuration and maintenance are covered. In addition, the test covers common monitoring and troubleshooting tasks.
Forefront Training

As of November 2010, Microsoft is not offering any classroom or e-learning training for this application. No Microsoft Press books have been released. Your best method of studying for this exam would be reading through the Microsoft developer network (MSDN) or Technet materials and using the product until you fully understand it. Practice tests may help you gauge your readiness to take the exam.
