Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or CPR, saves lives. The American Red Cross offers certification programs that can be taken by anyone, so whether you're taking care of children or trying to provide a safe environment for your employees, having your ARC CPR certification may help you save a life.

  1. Class Options

    • Classes are offered in a variety of ways. You can take a class at your local Red Cross facility; schedule sessions with a Red Cross instructor to come to your place of business to train a large group; or take advantage of Red Cross online training programs.

    Support Materials

    • Red Cross offers DVDs and pamphlets on CPR procedures that can be purchased and used for employee safety training.

    Workplace Requirements

    • Red Cross CPR training guidelines are in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, which are important for all workplace safety programs.

    Certification Period

    • CPR certificates are valid for one year after the completion of the training course.
