Executive Training for a Flight Attendant
Executive training for flight attendants is different than the standard training a commercial flight attendant receives because the type of people you are providing services for generally have higher expectations in the standards of service they receive in-flight.
-
Culinary Training
-
Meals served on executive flights are given more thoughtful preparation. Chefs prepare these foods and flight attendants must learn how to plate and serve the meals in a timely fashion. They must also be educated in wine pairing. Culture can play a big factor so learning the types of food for different cultures, religions and regions is important.
Etiquette
-
Learning a proper handshake and greeting can be critical when serving executive passengers. Timely service, attention to detail and attentiveness to ensure passengers have what they expect when they expect it ensures executives' expectations are met.
-
Standard Training
-
The standard skills required of any flight attendant are part of training for executive in-flight service including first aid, CPR, water survival skills and managing emergency situations such as terrorist attacks and other FAA requirements. Training will also include how to properly stock the plane, knowing operational rules and regulations for each type of aircraft and, personal hygiene and grooming.
