Liqueur base C is a base used in making liqueurs at home. It is sold in a pack and is mixed with alcohol and other ingredients allowing consumers to make their own liqueurs at home. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Forms

    • Liqueur bases come in different forms including the three most common ones: Liqueur Base A, B and C. Each type of base is used for making different types of liqueurs.

      Liqueur base A is the standard base used for many types of liqueurs. It is the least thick and least sweet of the three types. Liqueur base B is slightly thicker and sweeter than base A and Liqueur base C is the thickest and sweetest of all bases.

    Types

    • Liqueur base C is commonly used in making liqueurs such as Amaretto, Cafelua and Parfait Amour. It is also used for making Rum Liqueur, Swiss Chocolate Almond and Crème de Cacao.

    Use

    • Liqueur bases are purchased in premeasured packs allowing liqueur makers an easy way to make drinks. The packs eliminate wine and liqueur makers of having to measure liquids or sugar when making a liqueur. All supplies are purchased through many different suppliers offering the base packs, bottles of alcohol needed, liquid glucose and all other supplies and ingredients necessary for home liqueur makers.
