There is very little difference between HP 95 and HP 93 ink.

HP 95 Ink and HP 93 Ink are both single, tricolor ink cartridges that promise fast dry times in color documents and photos to avoid smearing and smudging. Both also boast fade and water resistance to keep original colors intact.

Differences

HP 95 Ink can print approximately 330 color graphics pages per cartridge, while HP 93 Ink can only print about 220 color graphics pages per cartridge. HP 95 Ink is compatible with 192 models of HP printers, whereas HP 93 ink is only compatible with 32 models of HP printers.

Cost

The main difference between HP 95 Ink and HP 93 Ink is cost. While HP 93 ink runs approximately $23.99 for a single ink cartridge as of November 2010, HP 95 runs approximately $28.99. It's important to note that 95 ink has approximately seven milliliters of ink in one cartridge and 93 ink has approximately five milliliters, so while 95 ink is more expensive, you are also getting more ink than you are getting with the 93 ink cartridge.
