Tools Needed
-
The basic tools that are needed to install a Toto Aquia II Dual Flush Toilet CST are an adjustable wrench, 12-inch pipe wrench, a level, pliers, tape measure, screwdriver, power drill and a putty knife. To install the toilet on a wood floor, a 3/32-inch drill bit for the rough-in and an 11/64-inch drill bit for the mounting block are needed. To install on a concrete or tile floor, use a 9/32-inch drill bit for the rough in, and an 11/32-inch drill bit to install the mounting block.
Special Considerations
-
Unlike most traditional toilets, the Aquia II Dual Flush bowl is installed atop mounting blocks that are firmly secured to the floor by screws with anchors. Instead of the usual closet bolts that stick up from the bottom of the toilet, screws are inserted into the side of the bowl, securing the bowl to the mounting blocks.

Tank Installation
-
When installing the tank onto the already-installed bowl, remove the refill tube and twist the upper portion of the tank's flush valve counterclockwise and lift it off. Slide a rubber washer, and then a metal washer onto each of the tank-to-bowl bolts, and install the bolts. Reinstall the flush valve and the refill tube.
