The juice from wheat grass contains 70 percent chlorophyll, a nutrient that helps to detoxify the body naturally. This nutrient can be used to counter radiation for cancer patients. It also helps to promote intestinal health.

There are at least 20 amino acids in wheat grass. These nutrients are said to be beneficial against Alzheimer's and depression. They also are beneficial to diabetes patients and will help to control cholesterol levels.
