Major Differences

The 305 is more powerful than the 3.4. However, the 305 was not a standard engine for the base model whereas the 3.4 was. The 1995 Camaro offers more safety features such as duel airbags and ABS brakes. The 1995 has better fuel economy as well. The 1995 3.4 estimates 19 miles per gallon for city and 28 mpg for highway and the 1989 305 estimates 15 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
