Description of Xerox 432AS Copier

The Xerox 432AS, designed for small work groups and offices, features a quality copier and printer. Options as a modular Document Center Multifunction machine include email, Fax, network Fax and network scanning. Although no longer produced, the Xerox 432 qualified for Energy Star (U.S.) and Environmental Choice (Canada) certification.

  1. Dimensions

    • The Xerox 432 measures 40 inches wide by 28 inches deep by 42.5 inches high. Weight ranges 216 pounds as a Document Center with duplex module and two trays to 232 pounds as a Document Center with duplex module and four trays.

    Paper Capacity

    • This laser copier holds a standard paper capacity of 1,050 sheets and maximum paper capacity of 4,050 sheets with options. Copy speed is 32 letter size images per minute (ipm), with a recommended average monthly volume of 100,000 pages per month. Output speed for legal size is 24 images per minute and for ledger size is 20 ipm.

      The Xerox 432 allows two-sided printing and copying. The optional finisher staples a maximum of 50 sheets.

    Copy Specifications

    • The Xerox 432 can create up to 999 copies with a resolution of 600-by-600 dots per inch (dpi) by 8 bit. Some features include edge erase, auto centering, background suppression, sharpness and contrast. The trademark Xerox Auto IQ or automatic image quality helps create documents of mixed text, photographs and graphics.
