    • Most home or work toxins are not obvious; it is important to seek out and identify toxins that may be damaging your health or that of your family or workers.

    Types

    • Common toxins found in the home or workplace include: radon gas, mold, lead and carbon monoxide.

    Identification

    • Home tests are available to help identify the presence of radon gas and lead paint. If you see mold, or your home or workplace have high humidity, contact a qualified inspector to test for toxicity. A carbon monoxide detector will alert you if carbon monoxide is present in your home or work.

    Solution

    • A simple ventilation system can solve radon gas problems, mold can be treated with anti-fungals and lead paint can be removed.
