Intel Xeon processors have many different types of embedded technology.

The IBM eServer xSeries 335 is a series of server computers made by IBM/Lenovo. Many of the computers in the eServer xSeries 335 contain some form of Intel Xeon Processor. The Xeon processors are intended for server-type computers, and are designed to handle large workloads. According to Intel, there are 240 processors in the Xeon processor family.

  1. Cores and Threads

    • The Intel Xeon processors have between one and eight cores. These processors also have between one and sixteen threads.

    Clock Speeds

    • According to IBM, the eServer xSeries 335 processors have core speeds of up to 3.2GHz. The front side bus speeds for these processors are up to 533MHz.

    Cache

    • The cache size for the Xeon processor is up to 24MB.

    Lithography

    • The lithography for the Xeon processor is 45 nanometers. Lithography is related to the size of component transistors. The smaller the lithography, the less energy is needed.

    Max TDP

    • The maximum thermal design point for these processors ranges from 15 to 165 watts. Max TDP is the largest amount of energy consumed by the CPU under normal usage.
