How do I Kill Furby?

Furby is an electronic stuffed animal manufactured by Tiger Electronics, which is division of Hasbro. Furby is known for complex facial movements, the Furbish language and its apparent learning of the English language. After prolonged use, the Furby toy will begin to beep at random times and speak when not being played with.

Remove Batteries

Stop the beeping or speaking of the Furby toy by removing its power source, the batteries. Turn Furby over and remove the plastic latch on the bottom of the toy. Once removed, take out the batteries. Any movement or sounds will stop.

Reset Furby

If you would like to reset Furby to factory settings, turn over the toy and locate the reset button right next to the battery casing. Hold down the reset button using a skinny item such as a pen or pencil for three to five seconds. This will not remove anything that your Furby has learned during your time with the toy.

Restart Furby

To completely restart Furby, turn the toy over and, while pressing the reset button, hold down the mouth switch. The mouth switch is located inside the mouth of the Furby. This will completely erase the Furby's memory and return it to factory settings.
