How Does a Water Machine Purify Water?

Carbon Absorption

In this process, carbon is activated within the water to eliminate chemicals and gases. By eliminating these materials, tastes and odors are also removed. More expensive carbon absorption systems also eliminate materials such as asbestos and lead.

Microporous Filtration Systems

Individuals can choose from a screen, depth or surface microporous filtration systems. The system uses a filter that cleans the water by catching contaminants. Little maintenance is required on this type of system and owners can empty the contents themselves.
