There are several types of decorative hose storage items from which to choose. Select a cast iron or decorative metal hook to loop your hose around, or choose a free-standing retractable hose holder to hide it entirely. You can also select a large basin, basket or planter to put your hose in when you are not using it.

To use a wall mounted hook, simply loop the hose around the hook and leave it there until you need it. A retractable holder comes complete with a hand crank; when you are done with the hose, just wind it back up like you would a fishing line. Bowls and basket type holders require you to hold the hose from above and coil it into the opening.
