Dremel manufactures several different high speed rotary tools, both corded and cordless. All Dremel accessories and attachments fit the rotary tools. The basic series 100 rotary tool has just one speed, while the High Performance 400 tool has variable speeds.The oscillating tools are useful for cutting, grinding, sanding, scraping and grout removal. The Dremel Trio allows the user to cut, sand and rout with just one tool. There is also a dedicated Dremel tool for engraving and another one for burning and soldering.
