RAF Specialist Training
Royal Air Force (RAF) Specialist Training is a part of the No 22 (Training) Group and it takes place at RAF Halton. No 22 (Training) Group recruits and instructs RAF personnel and provides them with highly trained and specialized servicemen. Instruction for Specialist Training includes Health and Safety (H&S), Environmental Protection (EP), and Quality Management (QM).

Environmental Protection

Environmental Protection is a Specialist Training course that is designed to instruct and educate individuals who are required to have both general and specialist training concerning environmental issues. This training helps RAF servicemen to understand government legislation, policy and other topics concerning the environment. Coursework for this particular specialized type of training includes Waste Management, Environmental Law and Policy, and Conservation.
Health and Safety

Servicemen who manage various areas of military and civilian employment within the RAF are responsible for knowing and implementing safety guidelines and procedures. Health and Safety provides courses to RAF managers and delegates to make them aware of the regulations contained with the Health and Safety Act 1974. Courses for Health and Safety include Manual Handling, Managing Safely and Risk Assessors.

Quality Management

When it comes to effective managing of servicemen, civilian employees, products, services or resources the RAF has quality standards that must be obtained. RAF Specialist Training for Quality Management trains and educates RAF managers with courses such as Audit Refresher, Quality Seminar and QMS Audit Skills.
