Bull pucky! I work for the government and I make less than $30,000. I'm not sure where these fantasy jobs are, but they sure aren't where I am. On the upside....I'm just grateful to have a job, now all I have to worry about is whether our government can continue paying me. I wish the people in Washington would get it together!

Yea, it is depressing. I believe in a free market; etc, but my company for example greatly increased (tripled?) profits since 9/11, yet our salaries have barely (maybe not even) kept up with inflation since then.

It's true that almost no profits rolled downhill. Companies are making a killing. They have automated more and what people they do need they can shop for around the world.
