Oceanside Marine Training
Oceanside, California is home to the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. This Marine training camp is comprised of more than 125,000 acres, making it the largest Marine training facility in the world.

The First Marine Expeditionary Force, 1st Marine Division, Marine Aircraft Group 39, Marine Air Control Group 38, 1st Marine Logistics Group, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Weapons and Field Training Battalion and a number of other units all call Base Pendleton home.
Schools

Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California, offers many different Marine training schools, including School of Infantry, Assault Amphibian School Battalion, Field Medical Service School and Marine Corps University.

Graduates

Graduates of the training schools at Camp Pendleton are enlisted as Marines. After graduation, the Marines move to Camp San Onofre for basic infantry training.
Residents

Camp Pendleton base housing includes homes for more than 38,000 families. During the day, the camp population is 60,000 military and civilian personnel.
