The 1985 Yamaha 1200 Venture Royale is a touring motorcycle designed for comfort and long-distance riding. From 1983 through 1985 the Venture was sold with a 1200cc engine. From 1986 through 1993 this was increased to 1300cc.

Specifications

The engine is a four-stroke, V-four, liquid-cooled design. The engine uses dual overhead camshafts with four valves per cylinder. The engine is shaft-driven.
