Is White Mold Harmful?

White mold can appear on vegetables if you don't eat them quickly enough.

White molds usually take the form of white, spotted patterns, which can grow on plants, walls, carpets and food. If the mold is found on a household surface, keep the infected area dry, such as with a dehumidifier, and consistently clean it with bleach or a household disinfectant. There are also many paints and sprays you can purchase at your local department store that can combat mold growth.
