PayPal has five withdrawal options.

PayPal users have different options to withdraw funds in their personal PayPal accounts. Processing times vary for each individual option. The time it takes to receive your withdrawal depends on which option you choose.

  1. PayPal Shopping

    • PayPal is accepted at many retailers across the Internet. You can shop through the PayPal Shopping center and pay for any purchases using your PayPal balance without the need of a debit or credit card.

    ATM

    • If you have a debit card linked to your PayPal account, you can get funds from any automated teller machine (ATM). The PayPal fee for this type of transaction is $1 (as of November 2010). Depending on the bank operating the ATM you choose to withdraw funds from, you may have to pay a fee to that bank as well.

    Debit Card

    • You can request a free debit card from PayPal that will use your PayPal balance to make purchases at any location accepting MasterCard. In addition, you can earn cash back each time you use your PayPal debit card.

    Check

    • You can request a check from PayPal for a fee of $1.50 (as of November 2010). The check will be sent to you within five to 10 business days.

    Electronic Funds Transfer

    • You can choose to electronically withdraw your PayPal funds to your connecting bank account. Processing time for this type of withdrawal is three to four business days. Check with your bank to learn their policies on crediting electronic funds transfers (EFTs) as their individual rules may affect the time it takes for you to see the funds in your account.
